The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a non-profit organization that supports and empowers wounded post-9/11 veterans and service members. Founded in 2003, the organization provides a variety of services, including physical and mental health support, career counseling, educational assistance, and community engagement programs. WWP helps veterans transition to civilian life and recover from both visible and invisible wounds of serving our country, such as PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. It also focuses on building a strong, supportive community for veterans and their families. The organization relies on donations to fund its programs and has gained widespread recognition for its advocacy work on behalf of wounded veterans.

Dan and I at GOLD SHIELDS are always proud and humbled by the partnerships that we are developing through the show.  We feel honored to have this affiliation with numerous foundations dedicated to supporting our Brothers and Sisters in Blue!  

So, once again we have the privilege of announcing our new partnership with this amazing foundation, C.O.P.S., Concerns Of Police Survivors. C.O.P.S has a focus and mission, and that is to bring comfort and support to the family members who have lost a loved one in Blue. The members of C.O.P.S are able to connect survivors with other survivors who have walked in their shoes, and through their work and support they are letting survivors know that they are not alone!

C.O.P.S. will be a big presence at National Police Week in Washington D.C. this year. One event they will be hosting is the Kids/Teens Program on May 14th and 16th at local Law Enforcement facilities. This gives the children of our Hero's the chance to meet one another and share their stories of their family members.

Then the highlight is the 5th Annual BLUE HONOR GALA, to be held on Sunday, May 14th at the Washington Hilton. This will be the highest level of respect and honor of our Fallen Officers.
